I almost went with the Scab, but changed to a Screw before it was too late. Best decision I ever made. Nice to have 4 real doors, nicer for my dog to have all that room in back. I read on here all the horror stories on parking, turning radius etc, and I don't think those guys know how to drive, I've never had a problem, only the width can be an issue but that's the same on both. In my opinion the Crew cab is a much nicer looking truck than the Super cab, it looks much more balanced. The Scabs look almost unfinished. I heard Chevrolet is dropping suicide doors on the 2014, I wonder if Ford might do the same.

even on trails if a screw will get stuck, most likely a scab is gonna get stuck too, 220.6 inches vs. 232.1 inches, they're both very long

I don't think it's anything to do with getting stuck versus one or the other. Rather the slightly better turning radius in scabs. Nothing personal to screws as I understand some like/need to be screwed. .
I'm just one of those guys that prefer scab after driving a screw for 4 years prior and never needing the older/smaller 4-doors ....I would have been miserable thru SOME of the tight trails and switchbacks in Florida. Feasible, with reverse, but a tad more stressful. Pulling into tight spots day in to day out is a lot easier now as a bonus too. . 12" is a lot to me when my front end had maximum 6"-7" at points even using the front camera in spots.
Besides, I fit my 3 men work crews in the scab INCLUDING myself more than once for lunch breaks while checking in on job sites. I'm 5'9" might i add, not 1 40+ year old ******* either instead surprised. I can def. take kids in the back as the wifey won't be workin thru the car seat years with a Nice SUV anyways. I rather bring the money to the table and leave the rest up to the lady.

It be kewl to see some trophy screws on tv once and a while though :)

The wife actually pushed me more towards the screw then scab. we don't really need the screw right now but the extra 2k towing is the a big thing for me. If we could afford it I would let the wife get the screw, and I'd buy my self a scab. Overall I think they look a lot better. but the extra interior room of the screw is really nice if you want to pile in your friends and go some place.

I prefer the SCREW. Especially since the build & wait time for the SCREW was SHORTER then the SCAB wait time.
