Yeah no doubt! You were one of the few that mounted em before me. I still like the wheels, but had I known every other Raptor on the damn boards was gonna end up with them I probably would have gone a different direction. Maybe I'll have Raptizzle spray mine with some o' gold powdercoat so I can be different again! :jester:

The worst part is, there is some brand new white F-150 in town who must know where I live and just copy me or something.... I get Methods, he gets Methods, I get Generals, a week or two later he has them, I do matte black on the hood, so does he, I do matte black on the tailgate, then he does too. I de-badge, he de-badges, I'm sure as soon as I wrap my roof, he will too. He hasn't seemed to figure out where my bumper and lights came from yet thankfully. I mean they say "imitation is the greatest form of flattery", but **** that... I don't want some twin of my truck rollin' on the street in my hometown. ...at least his isn't a Raptor. I know there are only so many modification combos out there, and its not like I patented/originated any of em, but daaaaamn, does homey really have to copy EVERYTHING I do??

You should put a rainbow sticker on the bumper to see if he'll copy that. :supergay:

Lmao! Great idea. ...I was thinking more along the lines of bringing him some yuccas and tree branches so he/we can copy my desert scratches too!

I've actually only seen his truck once, but my buddies and girlfriend have called me a few times with updates. If I see his truck again I'll take a pic and post.... El Paso is not that big of a city, less than a million people, and west El Paso (where he evidently lives/works also) is the smaller side of town.

No kidding, I knew I was going to catch hell for this, but I had no idea it would be this bad. The tire size is 305/55/R20

Can you say "Bling Bling"

Bling (or bling-bling) is a slang term popularized in hip hop culture, referring to flashy, ostentatious or elaborate jewelry and ornamented accessories that are carried, worn or installed, such as cell phones or tooth caps. The concept is mostly associated with rappers.

I would strongly recommend against going fast off road and/or even thinking about getting any wheels off the ground with that setup.

I'm basing this on the fact that those are 33" tires and you've gone to 20" wheels. You've lost about 2.5" of tire radius (RADIUS, not diameter). You only had about 7" of tire below the wheel on the stockers to start with...so taking out 2.5" of tire floatation is a terrible idea.

You've additionally widened the track which will increase stresses as well.

I'm sure it'll do just fine on pavement and driving it like a typical full size truck offroad, but if you want to explore the capabilities of a "Raptor" then you've ruined it.

IMHO get proper offset wheels with 35s, whatever color/finish you like. I wouldn't do 20s but I don't think they're the big problem here.
