I hate going to the Gas Station

I only run shell 93 in mine, the dealer filled it up with 87 when i picked it up and I definitely noticed a difference in performance that is all I ran in my FJ as well

Here in Oregon and Washington the wonderful gas companies are up to 4.10-4.30 for 87 and 4.34-4.50 for 92. They are blaming it on a refinery fire up in Seattle 2 years ago, say there is a shortage of gas. Funny how ALL brands have gone up the same. News says price may go up 20 more cents by Sunday!

All brands are pretty much the same gas lol. At least up here, and a few other places. there's 2 refineries that supply to many brands of gas stations.

But that's not why it's high, it's high because they can make it whatever price they want and people will still pay it.

It's the same, but the cleaning detergents are not. I like chevron, shell, and quiktrip. It may just be a weird psychological thing but it makes me feel better.

ethanol is cheaper and you don't need any cleaning detergents because it burns faster and is cleaner don't pollute as much because it is all getting burned up power is great with e-30, that is what blend I like to use I would not go over 50% in a non-flex but run e-30 in every thing yep small engine too my boat fired right up this spring with only e-30 in the tank no new gas or additive added either

3.48 for 87 in south Fl. I've always run 87 and add the Lucas fuel treatment to every tank. No pinging or any other issues. 13.5 mpg average as a daily driver. 22k miles so far.

I like lucas but I would use ethanol for the octane and than you don't need additive some additive can be bad make sure you know what is in the additive some have methane in it and that stuff is bad I think that is why people don't like ethanol it sounds the same if any one decided to switch make sure all is good with your engine first and that all the old additive is gone before adding ethanol run a tank or two of e-10 first so your sensors can get used of seeing the clean less pollution exhaust before kicking it up to e-30 + ethanol is cheaper to begin with and you save money on additive wonder why some don't like ethanol and they have the rest scared hahaha scaredy pants not^ OP just saying if I have had no problem why is every one scared ethanol is the best additive their is and is already in most gas any how e-30 just works the best for the octane it has and is 10 cent cheaper I could go on lol

have you tried e-30? I'm getting 14.5 mpg and I can't stay out of it if I rally get on it with the AFE and SW full I can manage to get it down to 9.8 but than it go's back up after a few miles try it the best additive ever this is how I got it to 103 is I ran 93 first to get the sensors used to it than switched to e-30 never had a problem even when changing to the afe and SW so I don't get what others are having a problem with It's probably all the other crap additives they are trying for the most part its snake oil imo
