No way should you have to pay for them to show you only to find out they were wrong. If they were right then shit, you end up paying but I would take that wager...seriously.

I'm with Tizz on this. There's something fishy going on here.

Here's the thing, what reason would they have to go to the middle perch instead of all the way up. There is absolutely no reason to half ass it, unless they made a mistake w the first one, noticed, did the second one and then lied cuz I can't see it either way. I should get a hold of Ford or a rep on here that may know.

There is 3! You have the stock setting which is the lowest, the middle setting which almost levels the truck, and the top setting which makes the front a little taller than the rear. The reason they don't know what the F is going on is because you can't see the notches from the lower settings. If they are compressing the springs in the truck then their tool maybe hitting something before they get the top notch exposed. Tell them to pull the whole thing out and compress it to the top notch... #3 and put the whole thing back in.

I've seen SDHQ's break down and these guys say they've done this 5 times previous. If they had done it to where they only compressed the springs w/o removing em, I can see how they could miss it. If that's the case, they're gonna do it right next time. Either way, I have to get back out there to get my skid plate (long story). Needless to say, I'm pissed and completely dissatisfied by the lack of quality with these guys. I expected better by them. Basically, I'm a clown and didn't babysit these guys while they worked and got screwed over in the end. As of now though, nothin I've found says theres a possibility of 2 notches. Thx guys

They wouldn't be able to go top perch by compressing on the truck its actually faster to just pull the shock from the truck. That's probably why they didn't do it. There's not enough room to safely or easily go to top perch

There is a VERY slight chance that one shock would sneek by Q.A. with only two grooves but 2 shocks on the same truck without 3 grooves ? Uhhhh maybe they never went to top perch, or maybe they have had bad luck getting alinment correct on top perch, or they have had some damage to uca due to being on top perch without after market uca's ? just a few random thoughts.
I had sonic for lunch.
