Stewart luxury Raptor is nice and all, but is it really a Raptor? Or is it just a wraptor (wannabe raptor)? Far as I know it is a base f150 cut up and raptor fiberglass parts added on it (front clip, fenders, and stickers).. Don't get me wrong it is a hell of a truck, but it is not a true raptor like your is going to be chris...

I hear ya Greg, but I will also tell you this. I have had the pleasure of being in that truck, and I don't care what they did. It is SICK. and in the name of RAPTOR.

However, I can't wait to have mine pushing the limit of a true Raptor. RPG is getting ready to really show what they can do. I have been sworn to secrecy on a few things, but I know it will get out soon enough. It should be a fun unveiling.

We are thinking about doing a trip down the Baja when it is done. I am going to have them put it through the paces hard first though.

Lots of tuning and testing to be done.

Corey, Jarrett and I had the same discussions about Black rain.. Starting with a stock f150 or a raptor base truck. It all comes down to money, as it usually does. In order to meet corey's slide rule numbers it was decided to start with f150 cab (like racewerks raptor) because everything else was going to be gutted and thrown away (and I mean everything).

Yeah, That about sums it up.

My wife just keeps shrugging her shoulders and saying it's ok, I know you love it.

Yes, she does I see a lot of new shoes in her future!! and maybe a new car... lol

You know the best part. I'll talk her into the car I want when I'm not driving the truck. :)

Shoes... That's another story. The $10,000 Hermes Purses kind of sting too.

Good thing the dogs don't ask for much.

Well the LPR 2.0 project is getting an overhaul of the Audio system too. If you followed the build of the Audio system you know that it has all hand built Illusion speakers and Mosconi Amps. Jacob Brown of High Desert Mobile Electronics in Albuquerque is going to drive out to RPG, and in conjunction with Orca Design rework the system to make it even sweeter than it already is. The guys at Orca are the kings of super high end audio equipment and the equipment in the truck is all the best of the best. The plan is to use the truck in their marketing material as they Launch the Illusion Audio brand.

I miss my truck already.

No not a Raptor, Far Far beyond what a Raptor will EVER be.
yes Raptor body work, cab from an f-150 but that's where it ends. Maybe you should look at some of the building of the Raceworks pre runner. ?

OMG, every day that I have that truck up there, this rebuild gets more intense. I am having so much fun.

The LSD is finished and installed. Thanks Wavetrac. I can't wait to go do the testing.

BigJ, I am sure you can pick up the Torsen now.

Oh yeah, the RCV axles arrived last night. A big thanks to Sean Carlini and the team at RCV too.

Agreed!! The cab is the only thing stock and all it is, is the 3 sided shell as it is. Go to youtube and look up TSCO Racing's page. They have 5 videos of the "Raptor Luxury Pre-Runners" being built. Absolutely SICK machines.:leghump:
