Bstoner, I'm doing the RPG stage 4 with the front CO's using Deaver +2 springs. I bought the Fuel Trophy Rims, if I were to go to a 37, do you foresee an issue? I'm told that the Fuel wheel offset paired with a BFG may be the match, whereas Nittos and Toyos have a fatter sidewall lug. I'm also installing the 1.5 UCA
Thoughts?

I have the same setup on my truck and I run Method Standards with 13.5" wide BFG Projects. Just trim the grey fender flare along the edge as well as the front and rear edges of the inner fender. Then hammer the pinch weld and use self tapping screws to put the fender liner back in place. Good to go!!

I can hit um at 100 if you like
coming from a lowered VW R32, it is huge. There are probably 5 big jumps within 3 miles of my home. I can fully compress the suspension on 3 of them if you like. The skid plates WILL make contact. These are our local streets, btw. Not deserted highways.

Pot holes so big you can fish out dem shitz :poop:

I have 2 potholes nearby that nearly destroyed my brother's 4x4 f150 on 35" Nittos. hard ass tires and hard suspension with very little flex. I do plan on driving balls out on those 5 jumps but I gotta make sure there are no cops around. What's the ticket for going airborne within city limits??
:boxed:

I just realized you a 22 year old kid from canada
I heard ya money got maple syrup in it
I was gonna get you the 2013 road ratings for the USA, but you ain't from here, bra
You just jealous I got sweet jumps on my way to work, geaux watch TEEN MOM while I research new tires
I got EDM from EDC on BPM right now.....you like dat?

37's in my opinion will only help ya. Of course not if your street racing but offroad, more grab is better no matter the circumstance. I don't like hitting puddles and ditches. I'm more into baja offroading, or driving on the street to get there......MAYBE trails even if I need to squeeze thru em every once and a while. Mud+water= U can have that!

Stoner- I was contemplating staying stock as I know it can be done on top perch with a lot of trimming but I honestly like the look of the boatecs. Not to mention I can stick to mid perch without worries for sure.

I get a sense that RajunCajun37 doesn't understand how 37's help. Half your suspension is your tires. Just put a little work in to clearancing them and the benefits will far out way the little effort it took.

how bout you post some current pictures, and not pictures from 2010.

im not saying i dont believe you, but cmon, HUGE jumps? that BUSSES are going over at 25 MPH? uh, no.

I cant stand over exaggerating like that. just a pet peeve of mine i guess.

get some fiberglass fenders, mid perch, and 37's and you will go over these obstacles much better than stock. all im sayin

All I'm sayin...

Get a Raptor before you tell Raptor owners anything except how to modify a Ford Ranger

I don't have to.

It's simple logic. Bigger tires go over obstacles easier. No matter what vehicle someone owns. Ranger, raptor, quad, mountain bike, same thing applies to all of those.

How bout you stop being suck a ******* **** all the time and grow the **** up. I'm not leaving, and I'm not going to stop posting. Get over it.

this dude ain't got no Raptor :chair:

:wtf2:

I'm wasting my time :893Chainsaw-Smilie-

Listen, I built an AWD golf for handling and performance, learned a lot along the way. Learned about brakes and suspension. Learned that too stiff can cause problems and learned that too low doesn't help handling.

I get input from several people. One guy is into suspension setups. He builds rock crawler suspensions. I got another buddy building heavy duty 4x4 diesels. Got a few guys into big power, turbo and superchargers setups.
I know suspension geeks and performance nerds. Been to many performance shops and seen quite a few dyno days.

I learned to drive up in the Smokey Mountains at Deal's Gap. The Dragon's Tail HWY 129. Mistakes get you killed there:
0508_cover_crash2_t588.jpg

318 turns in 11 miles with elevation changes of 4,000 feet. Mostly no guardrails

I learned about mud'n down here in cajun country:

I learned about speed at the Texas Mile:

AMS-Alpha-GTR-Texas-Mile.jpg

and I seen my share of stanced out cars at H20i
mk6-gti-bagged-air-suspension-stance-002.jpg

I spent 6 months in Japan where they love to drift. Every application has a different suspension setup to serve it's purpose. What suspension would appreciate the roads in NOLA?
I'm just saying it's a nightmare around here. More weight on the suspension and drivetrain can't be good.

Find me some forged light weight beadlocks and light but strong 37's and we're in business.
I didn't realize I had my first DELETE post today. Canada has a new currency, It was reported as having maple syrup in it. IS THIS TRUE?

I put one fender on then took it off and went bak to stock. I like the look but they need some work to fit properly.
