Myself Being to some places as you Patrick, and from this LA area, you have it rite my friend. These roads are smooth compared to many other areas for sure. I seen your stock fenders. Ill be on mid perch which means more trimming. Instead of going thru the trouble to make work for now. Imma wait another 1-2 weeks and be set before I throw everything on. This truck will be ready for Texas/Houston/TRR/Cali meets for sure. And def road worthy. If I find it needs more power then power adders such as the new pro charger setup will be added in the future.

I always think having more power on tap is better but I don't think you will feel the need for more power JUST from the 37's. When I put them on I didn't notice much difference at all and I have not even installed my full SW system or 5 star tune yet.

Hurricane-Katrina-sfSpan.jpg

I was in mud, sand, grass and dirt today.
Hit puddles as deep as 3" of standing water.
Slid around several curves, watch the traction light blink several times at me.
Hit two big jumps at 50 mph most cars were doing 25 there. Even city buses slowed to about 20 mph. Also hit two sections of highway so bad it was like rock crawling. Even in the Raptor I slow to 10 mph here because of possible damage to control arms.

Not worried about wheels and tires. The FOX SHOX's do well too but certain angles should be approached slowly. We have roads like that near my work. I did all this in one trip to ROUSE's to get some food. I'll start posting pictures. I have roads so nasty that the Raptor must approach slowly. I may tackle them balls out but never with a passenger, they may throw up. Impossible to follow me around GRETNA, La. with 37's. IMPOSSIBLE on stock suspension and stock fenders.

Come destroy your truck here in New Orleans with them fat 37's and that Street Stance. :dancingpoop:

So, huge jumps in a raptor at 50 mph, and cars and busses were hitting them at 20-25 mph, they musta got some decent air to. Throw up some pics of these huge jumps please.

And that article you linked is 3 years old..... I'm sure they have done a lot of work in 3 years.

What is with people lately quoting articles from many years ago as if they are still facts today.

I can hit um at 100 if you like
coming from a lowered VW R32, it is huge. There are probably 5 big jumps within 3 miles of my home. I can fully compress the suspension on 3 of them if you like. The skid plates WILL make contact. These are our local streets, btw. Not deserted highways.

Pot holes so big you can fish out dem shitz :poop:

I have 2 potholes nearby that nearly destroyed my brother's 4x4 f150 on 35" Nittos. hard ass tires and hard suspension with very little flex. I do plan on driving balls out on those 5 jumps but I gotta make sure there are no cops around. What's the ticket for going airborne within city limits??
:boxed:

I just realized you a 22 year old kid from canada
I heard ya money got maple syrup in it
I was gonna get you the 2013 road ratings for the USA, but you ain't from here, bra
You just jealous I got sweet jumps on my way to work, geaux watch TEEN MOM while I research new tires

how bout you post some current pictures, and not pictures from 2010.

im not saying i dont believe you, but cmon, HUGE jumps? that BUSSES are going over at 25 MPH? uh, no.

I cant stand over exaggerating like that. just a pet peeve of mine i guess.

get some fiberglass fenders, mid perch, and 37's and you will go over these obstacles much better than stock. all im sayin

I still have stock fender liners and fender with my 37"s

Bstoner, I'm doing the RPG stage 4 with the front CO's using Deaver +2 springs. I bought the Fuel Trophy Rims, if I were to go to a 37, do you foresee an issue? I'm told that the Fuel wheel offset paired with a BFG may be the match, whereas Nittos and Toyos have a fatter sidewall lug. I'm also installing the 1.5 UCA
Thoughts?
