6400 miles, 2 months old. CLUNK. Already had it into the Ford dealer for it. Clunk was as bad as before after 2 days of city driving.

Not exactly, but I did notice a few times over the past 3 months when I needed to shift into 4H to get up my driveway. (whoever designed a 20 degree angle driveway with 2 S-turns in it obviously didn't consider snow to be a factor). The front left would 'clunk' a little during the shift, and again when I reverse into my spot. I wrote it off as 'frozen conditions'.

But it's pretty clear there's something ****** up in there. It sounds like a typical broken hub not engaging, and is more prominent when the wheels are turned.

JP7, it does not surprise me that the IWE's (integrated Wheel Ends) would clunk or pop in the condition you describe above. Shifting into 4WD while sitting still and with the wheels turned. That, to me would be normal. The comment you made above about it clunking when in 4WD and moving from drive to reverse might indicate that you have an insufficient amount of vacuum being supplied to that hub, which could be causing undue wear to the IWE.

I had Ford pull the hub last service and check it out - they said the vaccuum etc. was all functioning correctly. Now it's time to look further, as I can hear it consistently when in 4wheel and turning.

Sounds like the issue my 2009 trade in had. Developed into a barely noticeable "buzz" that got progressively louder. It was a cracked vacum line.

6500 miles.
Weatherstripping has come loose around the driver door, makes a rattle sometimes.

Passenger seat used to squeak but that went away mysteriously

So far that's it.

Only problems I've had are the notorious clunk which is fixed and the bed extender had one of the knobs was deformed from manufacturing and the rubber bumper kept falling off. So ford replaced half the bed extender.

9000 mile update:
1. Clunk. Still have it.
2. Broken Windshield. Needs to be replaced.
3. Broken drivers side A Arm. Bushing missing. Frame split at rear A arm bracket.
4. All warning lights came on (TC, ABS ect). Can not turn off traction control and can not turn on Off Road mode. This cause #3 to happen because traction control kicked in and sent me straight into a boulder. (we KNOW is it NEVER the drivers fault  )
5. Think I bent the left rear wheel. It wobbles now.
6. Nav system randomly quits working. Ripping out the Nav+.

About 3,500. The only problems I've experienced were the slip yoke clunk (fixed with installation of new drive shaft) and an airbag warning light on the dash (which turned itself back off in a couple days). Not bad at all, Ford!
