How loud is the Magnaflow cat-back exhaust compared to the stock exhaust? I'd like something a little louder but not obnoxious. I leave our house at 5:15 am every day and don't want something that's going to wake the wifey and family every morning when I leave.

Thanks.

It's not much louder at all, but if you add a CAI to it, it gets much louder.

Definitely a little louder but not obnoxious. Best thing I've done so far. Go for it.

The best thing about it has zero annoying drone or resonance. Mine was only slightly louder when I first installed it but has gotten louder over time.

Only thing I can add...It is a clean install, looks great and does get louder with time. After a year mine is louder, but in a good way...

I'm selling my magnaflow muffler for the stock exhaust. It's nice & not obnoxious at all for having a pretty much stock exhaust.

Why does it get louder over time?

Pretty much all aftermarket mufflers get louder over time. Theres a break-in period they all have. just something with the heat of the exhaust running through it. Ive had flowmasters and magnaflows and they all got louder over time, 3-6 months is typical break-in time. Personally I like it when it gets louder

Sounds like every thing is covered. I've heard one in person about the same as stock but wakes up nice when wot.
