It took me some getting used to. The only other car I have had any seat time in for the past few years is my little sports car.

Some of the spots around here by me are just wide enough and the edges of the tires are touching the lines. So I go to the back of the parking lot and try to take up a couple of spots. If I see another truck doing some similar I will park near them but not to close since I figure the are wanting to avoid the dings as much as I do and it just adds the protecting for both. IDK why people can't respect other peoples stuff.

I am a door ding freak so I typically park as far away from others as possible. If I am in a ramp, I will drive around until I find a larger corner spot.

There have been a few instances where I have been forced to fit into whatever spot happens to be available. I cringe at the thought of fitting into a tight space! On the few occasions where I have had to squeeze in, I figured that the factory running boards would act as a guard against a carless door ding.

KNock on wood- so far, so good!

Hell of a lot easier to park than my Camaro was.

Visibility in the Raptors great imo. I tend to back into spaces habitually... Just makes leaving that much quicker.

I don't have a backup camera or anything and never have any issues.
As for the narrow spots..
Parking isn't the problem... It's what happens around your vehicle when it's sitting there while you do your thing.

Not too worried about door dings, because most doors would hit the step before ever touching paint.. What bugs me is the people I see getting out of their cars and leaning on the car next to them.. or dragging their jackets across the paint... That drives me nuts. Have some respect for other peoples property.

I always go for an end spot or corner spot if I can. One less terrible parker to worry about, and I can give myself extra space on the side that someone else will be parking.

Anyway, the Raptors easy to handle. Much easier than I expected. It feels like a car, just higher up. And has better visibility than a lot of cars.. A great turning radius. I'm with some of the others, in that the front end is harder to gauge than the back end... I am pretty awful and gauging how much room I have in the front. I always think I have less room than I actually do.
