Was going to install shocks today but decided to make a rack to hold stuff first... Got all the mounts made today... Oh ya and the bed bolts cam right out with ease!!! ha ha go figure...
So **** trying to keep my cost down making this rack... I'm at $112 so far ha ha... So I had to really get creative to get the mounts to fit...

So since so many are making their rack the usual way I decided to make mine look a bit different... Of course its not done U need to add a few more runners and a few support feet but this is what its going to look like when finished... I am making a second rack that will hold a big aluminum box I have for all my stuff... It will be alone mounted off the back 2 bed bolts...

Unless I get this eye disease under control This will be my last DYI build thingy I am doing.. I cannot see anymore to weld. My welds look like a 3year old did them. Dam glad for grinders!!!

Looks good for a guy than can see, looks great for a guy that can not see so well... I am 5 years behind ya and I hope the eye trouble is not exponentially faster as I get older.. My son is my fall back as I get older he sees the details I see the big picture... lol...

Besides all the eye sex talk, that looks pretty damn good so far.

And im within ya on the praise for grinders, its been years since i welded but i do explicitly remember loving my grinder more then my welds.
