After trying to resolve this issue with DDM, I have decided to file a dispute with my CC. The bulbs they sent me were defective. I had it sent to warranty for $15 only for it to return in the same form I had sent it for repair. I spoke with DDM (I think one of the higher ups, Brian?) yesterday, and was told that I would receive a call or email back today regarding the issue. I have received nothing. Since the CC only allows 60 days from posted date for you to file a dispute, I am not taking any chances.

Do you guys have any advice for me? I should probably make a separate thread... I will sooner or later. I have never filed a dispute before, and morally I think it is wrong to revoke a company of their money. However, they have not done anything right by me, which is why I have decided to go this route. It seems that they are stalling for my 60 days to expire, which is only a couple days away. Any advice of any sort would be much appreciated...

Yeah unless they have committed fraud you probably won't get your money back. They will send all the documents to your CC company to prove the purchase came through with your CC# Exp. Date, ccv and IP address. Unless DDM took the money and ran, the CC company will probably be no help. They will not deal with faulty product issues. At least this has been my experience with Discover card in the past.

thats one of the things i hate about buying things online, expecially being in canada.
never know of the quality unless you know someone who bought the same thing.

ducati uses the morimoto HID stuff for his retrofits, so i think ill be safe using their stuff from theretrofitsource.com

Yup I have personal experience with TRS products too. They are very high quality. They just didn't make the high/lo kit when i looked so thats why i went the DDM route.

Really? The BOA Rep told me that since the product was sent defective and I've tried to work with them that I could file the dispute. I'm not sure what that means in terms of me receiving my claim, but it's a start I guess. The important thing is that DDM does not get to keep the funds because of the shit poor job they have done.

Thanks for the referral, but I think I'm going to just go back to stock. I don't wanna spend anymore time wasted figuring out HID BS.
