I did nothing to these lights. They are aimed correctly according to the manual. These just have really good stock housings. Here is a pic of mine vs the recon projectors

These are my HIDs with the stock housing. They don't have the cutoff like a projector, but nothing can recreate that. But its really not bad. This is from about 50 ft.

Those look really good for not having projectors.

They don't have that crisp cut off like a projector but I couldn't ask for better. I'm very pleased with them. The high beams aren't like this though. Light scatter is a little more like the recons look

whtraptr, you got 55w in there right?

nope just the 35w. I wasn't sure how these would look in the stock housing. Now, I would consider getting the 55w though.

I ran HID in my stock headlights for a year and they are 10 times better then stock but you can see clearly in the picture the band of light just above the cutoff line, thats the problem. No matter how low you aim them it will always look like you have brights on to on coming traffic.
