Not sure if you're installing the mods yourself but don't forget all the labor charges if a shop is doing it. 1500.00 seems a bit cheap to have your fenders bumpers and grill fixed if it involves paint. If go with option 2 and get a bump kit in place of the TSS Gears and Rotors.

@ Sonoma : I m glad to hear you say that about the liners and the rear fenders. I was wondering that very point. I know you had custom liners and what your saying makes sense. The whipple makes tons of power so Im hoping the tires size is negligible in terms of power. Im more concerned about braking with the extra rotating mass.

@ NickPic and Raptizzle: I don't run across a lump of cash like this to often and the leaf springs and bump kit are affordable compared to shocks so Im thinking I will be able to save and do this around Xmass.

@ Raptor Addict : I have family friends that own a high end body shop and they are going to hook me up on the labor for the fenders but I do understand your point. I have the Oil pump gear already and felt this was a must bc of the blower and the tendency for these motors to fail bc of the gears.

@ Bane : Im hoping with the air/oil separator I just picled up along with the billet fuel pump and billet oil gears Im protecting the stock motor as much as I can to stretch the life on it so I can build the rest of the truck. Im also hoping the price and parts come down in the future. I commend Biggest for his build but I can't have the truck down for more than a week.

Honestly though... fender would be a waste IMO. What about bumpers? Winch? Lights? You can blow 5k right quick with those items.

Man I hear ya its a bit superficial but I ve seen so many Tux Raptros Id like to make it a little different. Bumper is a good call though and I could use a 30" light. The 5K was from a shot in the dark investment into a quale ranch made a while back. I really thought Id never see a return which was cool bc it was for a friend but in the end he came through like he said it would. I just got lucky on that one. Wish Bitcoin wouldn't have screwed me so hard but I still have my fingers crossed on that one too.

GM...The fender liners are a pure beauty on the trucks. On mine they were the center of attention for most people. I had mine powdercoated gunmetal grey color. But I saw them powdercoated a monster green color and it looked really nice.

If you want to feel the difference in terms of a physical change, then yes, the custom fender liners are unique and eye-catching.

If I were you I would do the shocks and the major suspension components, then add the liners, and slowly bring it all together over time. But you can also buy a set of shocks from the garage sale forums. I know people who have found really incredible deals on there.
