Why can't we get a gorgeous color like the orange on the Velociraptor pic? I'd pay for that in a heartbeat before I paid for vinyl stickers.

For the price ford wants for those stickers you can just about wrap the truck any color you want..

Believe me, I thought about that. But as much pinstriping as trucks tend to get around here (we have mountains and forests, no deserts or plains) I don't think a wrap would survive very long.

You're probably right - I've never wrapped a vehicle and probably need to catch up on technology. That said, I'd still rather have a bright, flat color - scratches and all.

I have wrapped a few cars, biggest pain in the ass if you dont do them every week. I will say if installed right and by a skilled installer they will last years. People think once they are wrapped you dont have to really care for them, thats where there wrong the upkeep is almost more than paint if you **** about it anyway.

This is the RIPPED OFF 6x6 off road monster...

By John Hennessey and his marketing crew:

One is a 6x6 off road monster that Mercedes-Benz manufactures and sells.

One is a photo shopped pretend truck that was "created" to get publicity for the scammer John Hennessey and his merry crew of marketeers.

One is a 6x6 off road monster that you can actually buy (it was about 457,000 Euros back in 2014) Mercedes-Benz prices the 2015 G63 AMG 6x6 pickup for Europe | Autoweek

One is a $70,000 truck that has had its bed extended and another set of wheels thrown underneath (well, in Hennessey's mind) and is "offered" for sale for $300,000. HA! The next one he sells will be the first one he makes! Imagine being the lucky owner of that tortured beast!

I hear if you buy one Hennessey will throw a new PC with Windows ME on it. And a brand new Blackberry phone. And a paper tablet with a stylus (well, a ballpoint pen actually). But he's charging another $10,000 for those options.

I pity those who continue to throw money at Hennessey & Co.

What's the over/under on (1) how long it will take him to build it and (2) how long it will be before that thing burns to the ground?!
