Harbor freight sells nothing but cheap junk!

I'd hate to see your truck fall off that thing because of a bad weld or cast

If your planning on adding a skid plate, they are all made for the 2 ton version, FYI....

I buy a lot of tools from there. Never had anything like that break on me. Just little things. And when they do, I've always returned it with no questions asked. If you have to crawl under the truck for anything, there should always be jack stands anyway.

I have the all aluminum, low profile model. It's always in the truck. Perfect for tight spots and also for my trailer should I need it. I carry 6X6 wood blocks if I'm headed where I shouldn't be and also some small sheets of 3/4" plywood to slide the jack on.

FYI I have the 1.5t this exact jack and it will NOT lift the rear off the ground with 37s from the axle tube. Also It does NOT have enough shit to pick it up from the rear diff. So Height and the weight it won't do. FYI. I have a 3 ton craftsman that will.

So go to the 2 or 3Ton jack not the 1.5

so i checked out Sears, and they have a Craftsman 2.25 ton jack and 2 1/4 ton jack stands for the same price.

Sears.com

are those stands strong enough? or should i look into a beefier craftsman jack and stands?

Good looking out ISF

Now they do have a 1.5 that is taller and you can tell by if it has 2 handles or one. The 1 handle is the short jack and the 2 handle is the taller jack. I was pretty disappointed that this wouldn't lift the rear off the ground from the rear diff so I'm going to say that it might not be a true 1.5t jack.

If it were I wouldn't look for anything less than 3ton for stands. The reason I say that is those stands are the ones that are welded together with some angle iron. Well the 3 tons have 2 stamped metal pieces welded together and therefor you have less of a chance for things to go wrong. I have used those others but don't trust them.
