I would go with at least a 2 ton, if not more. We have 3 ton jacks here at the shop and 6 ton jack stands, always better off safer. Hopefully they have some awesome deals on jacks that are of higher capacity

3 ton truck divided by 2 = 1.5 tons. Ok if you pick up only one end of the truck at a time - better hurry with those jack stands (but preferably just one corner at a time). Do NOT attempt to lift entire truck with this jack as severe disappointment will result lol. A 2 ton jack would definitely be safer.

They also have a 3 ton for the same price: Heavy Duty 3 Ton Floor Jack w/ Rapid Pump

I just bought this one. Opened the box. Seems sturdy. Gonna keep it the box and only throw the box in my can when I go off roading. I payed almost $80 with tax for a 3 ton jack. Small piece of insurance when you tires pops somewhere not perfectly flat.

Now I just need a skid plate
