i installed both suspension on the truck at 16 degree ride height

3.0 bypass full extended is 34" and coil overs are 33"

Hey can i get that hole there blocked?
As ypu can see is getting om the way of the support tap number 3

at the top is almost on the way with brake pump

13" is for the bypass
12" is for the coilover
At the top for the upper shock mount bucket

I took note and the best thing is to level the lower suspension body and then get them meassure for the upper shock mount bucket
It gave me 12" high for the build. Leaving a 1/2" of clearance up to the brake pump

As you see bypass is larger than coilovers, i think they shoul level at the bottom of the lower body. Bypass and coilover

i was taking the measures for upper shock mount bucket

it gave me 13" for bypass and 11" for 2.5 coil overs

as far i know coil overs shocks and bypass shocks body both needs to be level.

mine at full extension is like this

Question, did you do any homework/research AT all before purchasing this kit? Like any, any at all?

Yes i did, i was thinking for the sdhq lts +2, but i changed my mind when i got final price plus shipping of the kit.
Then i forgot about brenthel at all and went for the hnm long travel kit without asking for the little detail that gave me a hardtime here on the install, but you know what. Once you do all the meassures is easy to install that kit beside the only cons is that you need to build a upper shock mount bucket and remove the stock mount of the truck. That was the part i missed at all when i got the kit

In all honesty this is probably how it will go for me also when/if I go LT. I have no reputable off road fab shops near me and I sure as hell am not shipping my truck out west or east for the work to be done. We have built dirt track cars from tube chassis in the past and have plenty of fab/welding experience but nothing as far as LT off road suspension work. I'm pretty sure the guy is just posting pics for information and help which it does not seem that there is very much of that here more of a peanut gallery IMO.

Will make part 2 of the install once i gather all the pictures and info needed for the intallation require

In regards to the hole you want to block; you should be plating the frame.

Regarding the upper shock mounts, you'll want to fabricate an "engine cage" that goes from one side of the frame to the other (make sure it's removable).

I'm kind of surprised the kit didn't include a pre-fabbed engine cage.

If I have the chance and you think it will help, I'll send you a couple of pics of mine.

Good luck

Ok, thanks for the advice. It will be needed right?
To make upper shock mount rigid.

Just some unsolicited advice.
IF you do decide to do a kit like this, bite the bullet and have someone who's done it before install it. If you were building a race truck, I'd say go for it. But, these kits are $$$ and you're installing it on an $$$ truck with lots of sensitive equipment in the way. It's kind of an art to get it all squeezed in there and keep everything working and not rubbing.

I hate paying someone to do something I think I can do... but after looking at the LT kit installed on my truck and what was involved, I'm glad I did.

What is the point of having a Garage Sale section if folks are going to discuss sales outside of it? You have a dedicated for sale thread for this, use it, that is what it is there for.

I moved both of your posts to the for sale thread and that is what will happen to any future posts in this thread discussing the sale of these items.

Well the admin is the one who whipe that thread out, not me.
I was selling it, but those fishing offers makes me to keep it.
My bad to buy something that caused me a hard time, but i have to keep going i have to swallow it and see how it can be fixed.

Btw i said it can be offered in few months, for now i will be using it.

None of your threads have been "wiped out". Your for sale thread is intact in the garage sale section. I closed it as you said that you were not selling it. If it is still for sale (which you said it wasn't), than I will reopen it. This was also stated in the other thread.
