I was wondering if anyone else had a issue with the paint peeling in the grill. I have a 2018 and washed the grill and the paint came off in a couple spots. 4FC11F4F-B9F6-4FF6-AAA7-86097087D3A9.jpeg

That looks like brake fluid got on it or it wasn’t cleaned properly before painting. I would go for a new grill over painting

The dealer wouldn’t do anything they said that isn’t covered under the warranty after 12000 miles. So they wanted 1200 for a new grill. I said no so I’ll take it off and get it repainted.

that’s kind of cheapskate... that said, the grille is relatively easy to remove and separate. lots of threads on here on how to do it. I had chip on mine that i had touched up and the shop matched it flawlessly.

Do you happen to know what paint they used to touch it up? I have a chip I’m looking to fill in as well - a damn rock managed to hit right between the PPF lines and just do enough to make it irritating.
