I was up there last week checking out the F150 Tremors and the salesman told me that all of their new vehicles have at least a 10k ADM due to the vehicle shortage…

They’re **********. I went there first in 2019 and they wouldn’t let me do a test drive. Trried to hustle me with the typical manager switch off as I was trading in an M3. I left, and bought from prestige Ford with a much better deal and experience.. STAY AWAY FROM GRAPEVINE FORD!!!They had a fully loaded 35 inch white raptor that just hit the ground and I tried to work a deal with them to no luck. These guys want $35k ADM and were spouting off how that's the market. I offered them $10k over (MORE THAN FAIR) plus I'm a squeaky clean deal (solid credit and had title in hand on trade-in). These jokers literally wouldn't budge off of their $35k ADM and let me walk out the door ready and willing to do a deal. Insane. Won't be buying from them ever as squeezing every nickel out of their customers is all they're focused on doing.
What is a manufacturer going to do with your trade in when you have one? I'm not against direct-to-consumer models, but dealerships do serve a purpose. Whether you let them take advantage of you or not is entirely up to you.You care about the *** kicking the dealers have faced?
You are a fool to care about them when they will take advantage of you with no hesitation.
**** dealers. I hope they all go out of business and the direct from manufacturer model is everywhere
50 over is highest on the trx that I’m aware of. Talking actually sold, not listed at. Huntington Beach cjdr.$35k ADM...wow. Has that happened with the TRX? I see mostly $5-10k ADMs on those
There’s good dealers out there among the bad! Most are very nice people just trying to make a living (not a killing) and take care of there customers the way a internet service can not . Don’t believe me read about all the issues caravanna and vroom are having. Call me crazy but I like the old school talking to a person face to face! I bank with a local bank and my insurance agent is local. If I have a issue I want to be able to talk to a person face to face and not some call center out of MexicoWhat is a manufacturer going to do with your trade in when you have one? These forums are highly valuable. I bought mine at sticker in feb/march for sticker out of Michigan from a forum post. Shipped to me for $1850. I was in the market for a sports car when the final gen viper first came out. Went to Dodge with proof of funds. It was between that and one other car. They wouldn’t even let me test drive it.There’s a few dealers that have pulled the $5,000 - $30,000 ADM on the TRX. Right now if you’re willing to wait, there’s multiple dealers on the TRX forum ordering for $5,000 or more off sticker. I personally hope every TRX or Raptor listed with any kind of ADM dies a slow and painful rusted death while sitting on the showroom floor.
