I know most dealerships in houston sell MSRP. Houston Ford Katy and a few others. Also there Hacienta Ford down south that also confirmed with me they will knock off their 3k markup to have me come down and purchase. Austin/San Antonio areas are marked up 5k and told me they are unwilling to come down. Corpus was originally 10k mark up, they've come down to 5k recently. I recommend houston areas though. I called all these dealerships two weeks ago.

I would check with Mac Haik Ford in Desoto, TX. They have allocation and ordered 5 Raptors back in January; mine being one of them. My ETA for delivery is second week of March. Ask for Andy, he should be able to tell you what they ordered. I do know they sell quite a few Raptors, so I would bet they have a Ruby Red coming in March. They will, also, do $3000 off MSRP. It's pretty standard for them.

Thanks for the leads so far. I told the guy at GP that I am going elsewhere due to his questions and red flag early, He responds, Okay sounds good. This was the director, these folks clearly have no clue.

Raptor

I bought my White Supercab from AutoNation Ford, South Fort Worth TX, no BS, $500 over invoice, $500 deposit, except for the wait, it has been painless, call Dave Ball may be they can work something out on your deposit, good luck,

QUOTE=RDFTS;636254]Guys, I know what I signed. I know that I am going to lose my deposit. I know that I will most likely pay MSRP for a lot raptor. I know that this will not be a good financial decision. I know that this is an emotional decision. I know all this, I am okay with all of it.

So back to my question. Anyone dealt with this dealer??? If I do this, I don't want a playing games dealer.

Okay, I think I might be walking away from this dealer, red flags already.

I am asking about a trade. I gave the guy I am emailing my ford VIN. He wants condition, mileage and options. I provide the first two, of course and list out the additional options that I added since he has the VIN to look up all the factory options. He replies and tells me that the VIN will not show him the factory options and I need to list them all. What an idiot I am dealing with. Moving on, will look for another elsewhere.

Now I know why no one has responded about this dealer, nobody here is stupid enough to deal with these guys.

Doug Ball! This is the place I ordered from. My salesperson was Allison Basham except she's been out on leave after having foot surgery.

That's exactly what they will do.

Yes, I did sign a document in that regard.

Too bad you signed a document. It is against the Law for them to keep your deposit..If it was a considerable amount, I would contact a Lawyer for some free advice. IN the interim. Call Jesse at Katy Ford ( Autonation Ford) in Katy Texas...he'll treat you right, They have a few in stock.. Good Luck

I just bought a white Supercrew at Grapevine Ford. They have two blacks and a ruby red available. He showed me a list of Raptors coming in and they have a lot on the way.

I traded in an 06 Lincoln Mark LT. They gave me good money on the trade in and came off a little bit on the MSRP. I worked with Brett Robinson. They were wanting a premium on their SE but it may be worth a call.

I'm new here, but after reading this thread I have to comment.

Steer clear of Grand Prairie Ford. Having spent 5 years in dealership management I can tell you that those folks don't know how to handle their business in a straightforward manner. I tested them personally last month. My dealership didn't have an open allocation and I was afraid that I wouldn't get one before they shut production off, so I tested the waters around town as a last resort. GPF were the worst out of everyone I spoke with.

If you want a RR Screw SE call Butch at Bob Tomes in McKinney. He offered me one a few weeks ago, that the buyer was going to cancel on. He already had a VIN and build date. I'm not sure if it's still available, but he is selling them at invoice + and he's a good guy. I buy all of my vehicles from the auto group that I worked for in Arlington, but I go to BT for service (20 mins vs. an hour plus drive) and they have always taken care of me.

Thanks. I am actually from out of state so know nothing about Texas dealers. But as I noted in my thread that it didn't take me long to figure out that GPF were a bunch of bozos. One red flag is enough. If I do this, its got to be with a dealer that plays absolutely no games.

I bought mine a few weeks ago from Grapevine Ford, and it was substantially under MSRP. I believe they have a black, not sure about SE. If you want my sales guy's info, shoot me a PM and I am sure he will do the same deal for you.
