Got my VIN and delivery date today!

Ordered a SCREW today. I found out that the carbon fiber package is no longer being offered due to supplier issue (per rep who was on the phone). Not sure if they have some of the cf or if the supplier completely blew it. That is probably why the delay for people who ordered cf.

Interesting. My dealer still not bringing up a CF issue and neither was Ford Service when I spoke to them yesterday. Ford Service person said she'd "heard the rumor" but from what she could tell my order was clean.

So I wait...

Do I need the VIN to use COTUS? The site says I can enter my lastname, order number, and dealer number but the site doesn't return anything.

From what Ive herd COTUS isnt working for Raptors. Not sure if it ever will. It will not take Dealer/Order numbers and guys that have been issued VINs have entered them in with no luck. Hopefully it works in the near future.

When you post your build dates, post the date your order/deposit went in.

Talked to ford service and was told my order is in the processing stage waiting for a Vin and build date. I asked if there were any holds abs she said no. The only options on my truck i didn't order were the graphics.


So idk what is going on with the rumors of cf issues

I just ordered mine, and asked for the CF as well. He didn't mention that it was no longer available. Nice to see that VINs and build dates are happening.

Ford Service won't have this information. All they would see is "Material Hold" ~ They don't know the details on the CF shortage issues. You'll need to have your dealer contact their zone rep or the scheduling department.

Ford computers are refreshed on Thursday's. Yes new VIN's have been given out today. I'd go ahead and contact them again to see if you got one! Good luck!
