Exactly tell the body shop not to do the bumper, have the insurance cut you a check instead of paying them directly, and order an aftermarket bumper!

That is a good ideas looking at my estimate page a new bumper with the plastic piece all the hardware and painted was $800 so that is a pretty good discount off a new aftermarket one now I need some ideas.

You should also be compensated for the estimated labor. So do not just accept the cost of the bumper only.
