This is a note to all of you 5.4 owners who keep talking to themselves about not waiting for the 6.2......you should have waited!!!! I run my 6.2 regularly with both 5.4's and 6.2's here that are unmodified stock engines. They have ran with E85, fairy dust additives and whatever else they wanted to do. The same result happens each and every time...I show the 5.4's my tail lights. Every time on the pavement or other smooth surfaces. Now when you move offroad it is more a matter of driving skill than power. Each and every time the same 5.4 driver will show me his tail lights...why??? He is a much better driver than me!!!

How's that!!!!

5.4 > TH mode. seriously. you 6.2 guys need to come to the reality that even in a sprint to 100 you would only be a truck length ahead, and this truck wasn't meant to be fast, remember? a friggen Altima would blow the doors off a Raptor 6.2 or not. i still can't see why everyone says it's "day and night"...it isn't. accept it, get over it, quit trying to justify the year wait, 3k extra and -4mpg for an extra truck length on the strip  this truck was made for the dirt anyway and we saw what happened when IRONMAN took down the "mighty" 6.2(s)...5 times. LONG LIVE THE 5.4.

its meant to be a long range off road racer, you know, like a baja race. so that 1 truck length after 100, then add on another 100 and its 2 truck lengths... and so on and so on.... long distance race, us men with a 6.2L will be at the finish line drinking beers waiting on you boys with the 5.4L to finally get there. :Moon:
