How is Silver Lake when it rains? Still open? Not sure how wet sand will be.

I have to decide which will be best to wear in the truck.

You should bring any extras if you dont mind as I think a few people may need them..

Yes, it's open when its pouring, typically high winds too since it's right off the lake.....Just adds to the fun..and it does keep the sand dust down and usually not as many people either.

Anyone know any reputable vinyl shops in the area? I'm looking for a hood wrap On thursday but one company I thought I was all set up with won't reply to email or answer the phone.... The other that everyone will suggest wants literally twice as much for the same product, brand everything.

With exchange rate, fuel for the detour to get there etc I'm looking at a $480-520 hood wrap which I think is a bit much for $70 worth of vinyl or am I just being too cheap? Not sure i can justify that.

Well, you will have large bodies of water to play in also! The straight away is once again a lake. Just be careful in these bodies of water b/c they may look shallow but are actually deep in spots.... Still fun when the sand is wet.
Just make sure you air down your tires. Was running 10psi on Sat night up there, it did great. But recommended air probably 12-16psi.

See you guys on the 27th.

I believe Designs N Signs (a vendor here) is located in Michigan. I dont know if they will be at the event or what their prices are.

Are you using true beadlocks to air them down that much or just never making much of a turn?

I have the SE beadlocks but don't have the true rings but even if I did, to switch them over in the parking lot and switch back is going to be a PITA.

I was thinking of airing down to 20 and hope for the best.

Good to know about the sand, I was think too wet of sand can become quicksand.
