A quality dune flag is $20-$30. Im not sure if I have seen any where that rents them.

To get on to the dunes you need the following.

MI State Passport
MI ORV permit
MI ORV trail permit
10' dune flag mounted to the front.

100% no alcohol! Park rules

Sounds like I just need to get the WSI mount only and get the rest when I get there? And plan on getting the two piece pole with padding and flag. Any group buys on the WSI mount going on, would like to save on shipping?

does airing down make a big difference?

Airing down is almost a requirement haha most of us air down to about 14-16 psi and haven't popped a bead yet ... The airing down is more critical when it is dry and sand is soft and loose ... That weekend with the air pics it rained a lot so we where hooking up pretty good and prob didn't have to air down as much

Yes sir! But then again..I have more balls than brains.

Soft as a babies bottom, sand is a wonderful landing pad..nice and level...Full compression, no skid plate damage.

This should also demonstrate why 37s will not work with stock fenders if you plan on jumping your truck.

See you in June!

Wholly sheet BLUE !!!!--
THAT'S BAD ASS. Not a lot of photos like that. You need to submit that to Wilson's calendar contest. So cool.

Trails in Michigan are a lot of fun as is Silver Lake. The dunes are best with a group because you get to hang out. Just running the dunes gets boring after a while otherwise. Oh and you can always find the limit of your suspension there too.
