E-30 rocks!

It's not looking good for me to make it, I had high hopes but if I don't get the crops in I don't live. Raining late start do to cold, dam the dunes look fun!

Race fuel? what are you looking for, I have ms109 and c16 for my bike and car if you need either I could bring a couple 5 gallon pals.
Anything else I have a vp guy in grand rapids that could put an order in.

Dont use race fuel from the pump its probably gonna be leaded that shit gets all over the chambers and valves and kills o2 sensors.

Thanks for the offer I am set on fuel but if I am having a lot of fun it will go fast so knowing where to get fuel for day 2 would help.

I would never run leaded race fuel in the Raptor but have run some unleaded 100 octane in other cars before and it is nice.

I was just informed by my Wife Unit that another member's Wife Unit (Beth M) contacted her and begged us to go. I love it when the Wives approve of these trips before I can even ask!!:worthy:

I have a few questions:

1). Do we need our own helmets, or are we able to share with some other drivers who aren't currently out on the track? Money is tight so I'd prefer not to buy two new helmets. *Does anyone have a couple extras that we could borrow?*

2). Does anyone plan on doing more trail running over Saturday/Sunday rather than being at the track all day?

3). Can a stock truck handle this track? I've seen the carnage from Havoc in the Hills and I cannot afford another mishap like we had during the SnoBall this year...

4). Along those same lines, can a stock truck get airborne at the Dunes without damage?!! Mike's pics from last weekend's trip are awesome!

Hey Carl,

Glad to see you and Kim will make it!

You and/or Kim can certainly borrow my Helmet when I'm not on the track. I will see if I can find a spare also to bring with me.

Your truck can certainly handle all aspects of this event. My truck is on stock suspension with mid-perch only. You are in charge of determining how hard/high you want to go. There were 14 Raptors at Silver Lake...Everyone got air..at levels they were each comfortable with.

Thank you for the compliment, Silver Lakes is IMO one of the safest places to push a Raptor due to the sandy conditions and we are all looking forward to hitting the 1-96 Speedway for the first time.

Wait Big Blue, you got that much air with stock other than mid? I thought for sure yours would be modded to do that. How was the landing?

The Trails Jason and Mark mapped out are really incredible, if you have time to explore them, do so.

You would be surprised how soft the landings are even on the stock equip, trucks below all running stock foxes.

We usually do a bit of hunting around to find a good safe photo spot before going all out. I'm not aware of any trucks that had any skid damage in this spot. A few of us are in need of an alignment ;) but could also be a result of a hard previous day on trails too. As mentioned if you sign up for the event, i'm quite certain you will have a new screen saver.

Yes sir! But then again..I have more balls than brains.

Soft as a babies bottom, sand is a wonderful landing pad..nice and level...Full compression, no skid plate damage.

This should also demonstrate why 37s will not work with stock fenders if you plan on jumping your truck.

See you in June!
