I got rid of an M3, Evo 8, and Tacoma.

Didn't need 3 cars. 2 were seeing more track duty than anything else.

Wanted a daily driver badass truck.

Was going to build the Tacoma, but thought more and more about buying American this time around.

Saw a Raptor and that was it.

Picked up my '14 January 15th.

I'm actually looking for a Mazda Miata to turn into a DD and for track duty.

Hope to get a GT500 or M5 in the stable in a few years. May have to think long and hard about a Z06.

Love the vette OP!

can't say i've given up cars for the Raptor, but I can tell you with multiple performance cars to choose from every day, i almost always pick the Raptor to drive.

it's been in the stereo shop for the better part of two weeks and i miss it everyday.

Thank you! That is good to know. Any certain reason why you like driving the Raptor over anything else? I'd have a hard time with that, the F430 is a dream car of mine.

there is just something about the Raptor that you don't get in other cars. Nearest I can figure is that when driving it I feel that if the world picks that exact moment to go to shit, I'm driving the most capable vehicle to insure my survival.

the 430 is a ton of fun, don't get me wrong, and it's gotten a bunch of miles on it the last two weeks, but with the Raptor you feel...invincible maybe?

Just out of curiosity, I tell my wife that I think that sometimes I get more looks in my Raptor than I would in a Hi Performance car like a Ferrari. What do you think? How is the Raptor on the head turning scale? Does it make a difference Male to Female?

The invincible feeling I think makes sense. Thank you!

Gave up my '11 GT500, only had 3600 miles on it. It was basically useless. I loved it, don't get me wrong, special ordered it so it could essentially sit in the garage. The Raptor gets way more use, just as much attention (or more), and it's just as much fun to drive (just different).

Go for the Raptor!

That's my thing with my Z06. I don't even think I put 3k miles on it last year. It mainly just sits in the garage, especially during the winter, which lasts for 6 months.

I get far more female attention in the raptor, the Ferrari just seems to draw 16 year old boys driving mustangs who don't understand the theory of relativity and gravity...
