Welding in an exhaust cutout & swapping in a better cat-back exhaust at the same time would be a great option. You can switch from slightly aggressive to hellraiser any time you want.

Lots of chatter about the Corsa Extreme being a great exhaust choice and I’ve read it is very resistant to drone. Not sure how doing long tube headers would effect that though

on corvettes it creates a mild drone, also a 6.2L, fwiw. but i have the extremes on my car, with everything stock up stream of the mufflers theres zero drone, sounds incredible. OP if you plan to run catless, i'd consider the sports over the extremes unless you hate your neighbors.
