Greetings and Happy New Year to everybody!

Would appreciate if someone will provide some feedback if already installed and used the GF Performance Chip on their Raptor FORD F150 GF Peformance Chip

They claim that gas milleage is improved by 10%, gain about 30 HP, torque is also increased. The web site has interesting information and reading it makes a lot of sense.

Thank you

I have heard of similar "chips". all they do is fool the Intake Air Temp sensor into thinking its cold outside and the ECU adjust to that. that's why its only using 2 wires that go to the IAT sensor instead of actually talking to the ECU. its basically an expensive resistor

Similar products have been around for years. Like NickPic83 said, it's a resistor that fools your ECM into thinking the air intake temperature is much colder than it is. The ECM will adjust by adding more fuel. A richer mixture would be fine if you were doing an intake and headers, for example, because you have the airflow to support a more fuel. But, all the "chip" will do is reduce gas mileage, reduce power, destroy O2 sensors, destroy your cats and foul your spark plugs for running way too rich.

Just get a tune and an intake from a reliable source. You could very well see a 20HP/TQ increase in usable RPM ranges. Gas mileage will likely remain unchanged if you don't floor it at every stop light (not that there's anything wrong with that). These Raptors wake up tremendously with an intake and tune; more than we have really seen on an otherwise stock engine.

If "GF" stands for Girl Friend, a diamond is probably the best performance chip available. Really ups their performance, at least until they ingest wedding cake.

Great response and fast...!
But guys - I have a question here: if this GF chip is only a resistor fooling the ECM that the air intake is much colder than it is - why as soon as the cold season started I noticed a drop in mileage of about 3MPG, same driving style and conditions. I am at 13 now and before was hovering above 16. If cold air always drops the mileage then what is this resistor doing really? In an E-mail response they quarantee 30 extra ponies and extra 3-4 MPG - and this is specifically for a Raptor.
