:( /sigh

I know I'm in a holding pattern and all that but hearing it still hurts. Oh well, maybe I'll get it by my B-day in April..

Congrats Dane. The dealer I ordered my 2012 from does invoice + $500, which in your case comes out to $49,000ish. But my dealer is located in Louisiana, so I doubt you'd want to travel that far...

Any other dealers offer this deal? Louisiana is a LONG way, but I'm not ruling anything out at this point - somewhere slightly closer would be nice though.

I fired off the $49K to my local dealer. We'll see what he says. He was down to $51K when we last spoke.

I'm willing to be patient - in fact I don't WANT to receive it until mid-February or later. That's when a buddy gets back from his stint in Antarctica and is buying my current truck. :waytogo:

Dealers are easy to work with and getting them to drop ship will be a small charge of a few hundred.

its not really a materials hold.... if im not mistaken ALL F-150's are on a "delay", in that they are only building dealer stock units without any options as sort of a QC check. and then they will build customer sold orders with all options. im THINKING (i could be wrong) that they made changes to the assembly line, so they doing a few runs to make sure everything is fine before making Trucks that are already sold to customers.

hehe lil bit Humvee.... but its ok.

and from the man himself Randy

BUT Nothing is on “Material Hold”??
Ford is just not pulling/vin'ing ANY "Sold" O/T 1 Orders, until OK TO SHIP is done, on the "For Stock" O/T 2 Raptors that should be built starting Nov 7th.

If a dealer wants to put a "For Stock" O/T 2 order in the order bank, then they can't order with 55L, 58N, 76F, or either graphic.
The ONLY available options are, 43M, 63E and 63T for the first week "For Stock" orders, for early builds. (They are SAVING the GOOD Options for you guys with Raptors ON ORDER......................... LOL)

This is for ALL 2012 F150's, not just Raptors.
