Hi guys!!! I recently bought a 22 Raptor with 43k and its awesome aside from the vibrations I've been dealing which is driving me nuts. So I noticed it mainly at 75+ once I hit 80 you can really feel it more and it I go above 80 its gets slightly worse. The Dealer is telling me the tires needs to be replaced there feathered. I took it to my Mechanic who works on my GT500 and rebalanced the tires and didn't see a need to replace the tires, he thinks it something else. I also had the Exhaust clamps re torqued down to see if the vibrations were coming from that but no luck. Anyone else been able to resolve this issue? I have seen quite of posts about this elsewhere. Thanks all!!!

i had a cyclical vibration that i initially figured was tire wear that was present at low and high speeds in the pedal box. i could feel it slightly in the steering as well. i knew it wasnt tire balance so i tried tightening the exhaust, pedal box to the bulkhead etc and while that did reduce the vibrations a bit (namely tightening the pedal box), there was clearly something else going on. took it to the dealer and after a couple of trips they said they could hear intermittent noise coming from the iwes. they replaced both and **** vibrations gone. this was done around the 25k mark

Hey TM965,

The IWES, did they say what failed? I dont have any feelings in the wheel, but this is good to know. is there a way to test the theory without taking it apart? could it be turned off or engaged to really hear it if there's a issue?

they didnt say what failed and frankly i dont think they had completely failed yet. the feeling in the wheel was very slight. putting it in 2wd/4wd/awd didnt make a dif in the vibration at speed

You’re not alone OP. I have a similar issue. 2023 with 32k miles. Has done it since day 1 and I have had the OEM 35 wheels/tires, 37PP wheels/tires and now a set of Methods with said 37” tires. There was one other thread that popped up awhile ago and he was also having the issue. I have been to two separate dealers and brought it up 3x. First time I was told they cant drive the car over 65mph and they wrote it off, didn't even document it. Second dealer told me they could feel it but didn't have another Raptor to compare it with. That same dealer another time told me they could note the vibrations/grinding and suspected it was the tires or the RPG collar. I told them i had put 3 sets of wheels and two sets of tires on the truck and that the RPG collar had only been on 5,000 miles at that point. I just went to Americas Tire to have the road force balance done, tires inspected and another alignment. $200 bucks later they say everything is fine, like I suspected. Unfortunately, I need the truck daily and dont have a viable option to leave the truck for who knows how long with the dealer. If I could I would leave it and tell them I will pick it up when its fixed. The vibration is so bad it puts my foot to sleep and at times the truck honestly feels unsafe above 65mph. Its isolated to the pedal/floorboard nothing in the steering wheel. I have a history with off road race vehicles and it really feels like the rear end or front differential is going to grenade. Or perhaps the driveline is out of balance/bent. But its been 32k miles and hasnt yet so Im a bit dumbfounded, was hoping it was going to just blow before the 36k warranty was up. Let me know if you find any solutions. I’ll probably try and push the issue again in the next month or so.
