If I know anything about the aftermarket, they will have a replacement bumper section that lets the 35 trucks fit a 37” spare.

Yeah I wonder if "different frame" is really just Ford sensationalizing a couple different brackets that could be swapped.

How much was Recaro package in the Gen2? I am pretty sure it was less than 2K and that included the Carbon Fiber package. So the 37 will include front shocks, 37s, seats and carbon fiber. I bet it will be less than 6k. Remember you are technically already paying for shocks and 35s so you are just paying for the diff between the base and the 37s.

No way it is 10k.

I don't know if it will be $10k. Even "less than $6k" would probably be $5,995. No matter, it's a ton of money to pay for slightly bigger tires.

Ford didn't even need to offer 37s. IMO since they cancelled the SCAB and the previous 800A package that almost nobody bought, they are now using 37s as another way to turn a $53k base MSRP truck into a $75k truck like they did last time. Making 801A the new 800A, and getting rid of the SCAB, they need some new boxes to tick for us to bump the price up over $70k.

Again IMO the 37 performance package is designed for Ford to milk a lot more profit on these trucks at virtually zero additional cost to Ford. You get different fox shocks (you already paid for fox shocks), different tires (you already were paying for 35s), different seats (you already paid for seats), stickers (stickers are virtually free). So maybe $500, $1k max of upgrade cost to Ford, easily a $5,995 package to you the buyer.

Not sure anyone has seen this, but guy who was part of dev team discusses the frame in detail. It’s a good watch. It’s about 30 mins.

He also says the frame is just for the 37, and all the “smart” parts of the car all talk together.

Big question I have, is can you get the 37s with the 801 or are they forcing you up to 802 to get the 37, forced to 802 those 37s get very expensive.

That was one of the things about the 18, I could order the 801 but add in the Torsen for just 500

Probably - I can’t imagine they are stocking two complete different frames, more like a production build item, bolt rear cross member A for 35 or B for 37

We've gotta be looking at $80k+ for a loaded Gen 3 with 37's, look at Super Duty pricing. I think loaded 35's will still be mid 70's and 37's will be low 80's with a stealer mark-up between 5K-15K initially

Absolutely the gen 3 will be over $80k loaded. Loaded 802a’s were $76k or higher on gen 2’s and new models never go backward in price. You’re also now paying for larger tires in the 37 package (5 of them) and the upgraded materials for the interior will add to the base cost anyways.

I will get if $80k is with everything I want:

801A
Raptor 37 Performance Package
Power Tech Package
Raptor Carbon Fiber Package
Spray In Bedliner
Twin Panel Sunroof

If too much I will not get the 37 Package.

Does anyone know if it is drastic decrease in MPG's with the 37's?
