I took delivery of my truck last Friday, I have around 430 miles on the clock and I absolutely love the truck but I have noticed a few issues:

Steering wheel is misaligned. The truck doesn't pull when you let off the wheel but when I attempt to straighten the steering wheel to its centered position, it makes the truck pull left. (With or without lane assist active)

Drivers mirror vibrates while driving, passenger side mirror is solid as a rock. I've tried folding and unfolding the mirrors as the manual suggested but that still didn't fix the mirror vibrations.

I'm also getting wind noise from the drivers door/window area while driving at highway speeds. I checked the rubber gaskets around the door to make sure they are all seated properly and they look okay to me.

I also have significant surface rust on the rear diff, front cv shafts and other various unprotected steel components under the truck. The only salt/snow this truck could've been exposed to was while it was sitting/being tested in Dearborn. The front cv shafts have so much rust that its actually flinging the rust color onto the front shocks which is very noticeable on blue.

Minor stuff that I will be making you dealer aware of soon.

I too noticed the misaligned steering wheel (not much, but enough to annoy) and the rust on the rear diff and cv shafts on my new truck. I'd be interested to hear what response you get from your dealer about these minor issues.

wish they could've had the passenger install guy do the driver side as well.

overall I'm loving the truck so far...I too seem to have a slight vibration and had one tire rebalanced twice so far and me do all of them again...seems like these bfg's are tough to get just right.

I noticed on our first truck (and only so far) that came in that the rear end was all rusty. The rear housing is not painted so as soon as it's exposed to any weather it rusts. I believe we started seeing that back in 05' on the Mustangs. I'm probably going to clean and paint the rear on my truck.

I didn't notice the front axle shafts.

I don't have my truck yet but one thing I have noticed that I don't like is the way the new easy entry/exit and or memory seat works. The steering wheel moves and then the seat moves. So compared to the older models where the seat and wheel moved at the same time it now takes twice as long for it to move to the correct position. I'll more than likely just turn the easy entry/exit off. This is only an 802 package feature. I know not really a big deal but an inconvenience for me.

Just p/u my nov1 build now. Nice truck looks great in life pulls steady. Had 140km on it when delivered. also notice the slight turn in the steering wheel. I guess thats what a reference point does to you. turned of the stop/start at the first light. anybody notice the slight indent on pass. side door just below the side window transition, right at and below the body line? Looked quickly at a clean black 2016 on the floor and it had something similar going on. doesn't bother me won't see it in a month anyway.

Back on topic...I now have about 1,500 miles on my '17 AG SCREW:

1) I've not had any issues from it skipping 2 and 4 in "Normal" mode. It does it, but I don't notice any lack of smoothness in the shifting between gears.

2) On a few rare occasions I may have noticed the same vibration you are mentioning. My initial thought was that it was merely the transmission hunting a bit for the right gear, but it never seemed to be constant or annoying in any way.

3) I experimented with the Modes and with the 4x4 selector switch. When going into "Weather-Mode" there is a noticeable decrease in response as the computer seems to limit driver input.

2) Not a fan of Apple CarPlay (not sure why, just don't like it), and still don't know why these auto companies can't figure out how to use USB thumb drives formatted to 32GBs. I'd like to be able to load up a single thumb drive with music, put it in the little console and forget about it, but I can't figure out what the magic mix is for FAT, size, power, etc. to get a thumb drive to work in this thing

You can absolutely put music on a USB and play it through sync.

I do it all the time in my Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

Weather mode is designed to reduce throttle input in slippery conditions to make it easier to drive.

And yet my truck has never blown a hose and this jen 2 has. Best of luck with your hoses.

It's just all that Gen 2 horsepower trying to claw its way out of the motor any way it can! :ROFLJest:
