I hope this hasn't already been done, but I thought it would be nice to have a thread devoted solely to Gen 2 issues/dislikes from those who have received their Gen 2 trucks. Here are a few from me to get it started:
1) I don't like how the transmission skips 2nd and 4th gear every time when not accelerating hard. Those particular shifts are slower and they are not as smooth as the rest.
2) I am now experiencing fairly constant, but mild, vibration every time I hit the gas at speeds above 40 MPH. If I take my foot off the gas, all is well, but while hitting the gas to do something as simple as maintaining speed, I feel a very subtle vibration. I had a technician at a dealership confirm what I am feeling and they are doing some investigating.
4) When I use 4 Auto, it almost feels like I am in 4 High on dry pavement. I was hoping this feature would be just as smooth as it is in my Nissan Armada or my wife's Acura MDX, but unfortunately that isn't the case. It isn't horrible, but I definitely hear some different noises and can feel some vibration/resistance.

To bring everybody up to speed, per my second concern/issue above, I just got a call from Ford stating that I am having a misfire in cylinder #6. I really hope that is the issue and I don't have a problem with the transmission. They are currently doing some additional diagnostics to get to the root cause of the misfire.

I also asked them to lubricate anything/everything that gets engaged when 4 Auto is running to see if I can get that to feel/sound as smooth and unrestricted as the other truck that I test drove this weekend for comparison purposes.

Final updates will be forthcoming. Thanks again to all for your help!!! I really like the truck and can't wait to get all of the unfortunate issues (two bad tires, wrong skull caps installed on the mirrors, misfire in cylinder 6, potential 4 Auto issue) resolved.

Back on topic...I now have about 1,500 miles on my '17 AG SCREW:

1) I've not had any issues from it skipping 2 and 4 in "Normal" mode. It does it, but I don't notice any lack of smoothness in the shifting between gears.
2) On a few rare occasions I may have noticed the same vibration you are mentioning. My initial thought was that it was merely the transmission hunting a bit for the right gear, but it never seemed to be constant or annoying in any way.
3) I experimented with the Modes and with the 4x4 selector switch. When going into "Weather-Mode" there is a noticeable decrease in response as the computer seems to limit driver input. However, leaving everything in "Normal-mode" and simply rotating the selector from 2-H to 4-A, I did not notice any change at all in response, noise or vibration. In addition, if you look in the information screen, you'll see that with either of the choices above it will show "power" being distributed to front and back on one of the screens, but if you look at the next screen (where it shows the graphic of power from the wheels to the ground) in 4-A you'll see only the rear wheels are engaged (unless you need front power at that moment).

Overall, I am absolutely loving my Raptor, but a few minor issues/complaints so far:

1) Rear backup camera is not as "bright" as the one I had on my 2012 Platty.
2) Not a fan of Apple CarPlay (not sure why, just don't like it), and still don't know why these auto companies can't figure out how to use USB thumb drives formatted to 32GBs. I'd like to be able to load up a single thumb drive with music, put it in the little console and forget about it, but I can't figure out what the magic mix is for FAT, size, power, etc. to get a thumb drive to work in this thing
3) Hey Ford, it's 2017, learn to put the AM/FM antenna in the windshield and stop with the 31" whips!
4) I'm 6'4" and wish there was just a few inches more in the left-most footwell for me to stretch out my left leg (nit-pick, I know)
5) MyKey is just pain dumb. If anyone really uses this, please let me know how and why.
6) Auto Stop/Start - I've already ranted about this in other posts

In you comment above, you do not see it showing power going to all 4 wheels when you take off in 4 Auto? I see power going to all 4 wheels when I take off unless I am turning. In that situation, I do not see power going to the front wheels until the wheel starts to straighten up. It then shows power being delivered to all 4 wheels for a decent amount of time (just guessing, but maybe 15 to 20 seconds) until I am moving at a decent speed (guessing again, but maybe 40+ MPH) before it changes and only shows power going to the rear wheels. Please confirm your comment. That might explain my 4 Auto issue.

No, not really a big deal, other than a brand new truck blowing a hose off which I'd be a little irritated with, but grand scheme easy fix.

Ford must still be using J1 hose clamps. They need to switch that old shit out. Luckily my build isn't for a few weeks...
