Gen 1 wasn’t limited production. And it looks like the 12 year old vehicle it is next to a G2 or G3. Both of which are massively more differentiated from a standard F-150 than G1 ever could have ever dreamed of being.
I really appreciate your knowledge, but you sir have no appreciation for history it seems.

Gen 1 is an iconoclast, regardless of performance or looks.

Appreciate it for what it is; a trailblazer.

Just my 2 pesos

That picture is from a late 1968 advertisement. It was the closest I could find to my actual car. It’s the only Black 4 Speed produced with the R code 428 Cobra Jet engine. It’s a concours nut and bolt restoration. The current project is an Orange one like the Raptor.

Gen 1, never mistaken for anything else, even at a distance. Timeless hourglass figure :)

I've always appreciated the extra wide body panels on the G1 vs G2 and G3. While I still like G2 and G3 they're more fender flare and less fender bulge IMO. But I will say the G2 and G3 with aftermarket glass look really good. My vote is G1 G3 G2 in that order.

Yeah I’m with you, the wider fender is more appealing than the more bulgee flair.

I see people looking at this truck. In fact a hot rockin young thing in a jeep literally stopped and admired my bulge the other day while fueling up. Made this 57 year old married guys day too!
