So no motor wear or damage? That is good to know. Talked to Jason at TMX and they are releasing a complete gear change out package this week for 4.88's. He said they have done several already, and that people keep calling him for more. Should be interesting.

No issue at all running at that rpm- just uses a little more fuel. If you cruise at 70 its perfect honestly. On the plus side a lot let downshifting to 5th. You do get a little better mpg around town also. At 65 488 with 37 is +380 rpms compared to stock with 35s. 456 is +140 if I remember correctly.

If you are planning on staying with the BFG 37's I would do 4.56's. 4.88's is a a 20% increase is gearing with only an ~8% increase in tire size. (36.3/34.5)

Very good info guys. Thanks. I am guessing acceleration increases quite dramatically? Through all the gears? The 4.56's with the smaller bfg tire would prob be an improvement over what I have now?
