I would expect to see that number improve as you get through the first couple of thousand miles. How much are you putting your foot into it? The window sticker lists 14 city and 18 hwy, and that is qualified as being the middle of a range "you may see". I would expect to see 13-14 in town, if you don't hot dog it.

Window sticker advisory: They're required by the government so you know they can't be counted on to be factual.

Give your truck time to get used to you driving it. Don't lead foot it (not saying you are). Drive it and keep checking your mileage. It should get better.

Mine's not worth worrying about - I drive 80MPH on the freeway (just trying to keep up with the other cars and trucks). My mileage is about 12-13MPG. But I smile with every mile and gallon (and I didn't buy it for the MPGs). :)

Mine has gone up about 1 MPG since i've had it. at 8K now. I'm getting about 14, mixed city and hwy. And I'm like Dan, do 80 on the freeway. But if I get anything better than 10mpg in a truck, i'm happy. Trucks aren't econoboxes, they don't get very good mpg.

I'm rolling in at 14.4 mpg at the present time with a whopping 3300 on the odo. As long as my mpg stays above my Landcruiser's mpg (13 mpg) I'm just fine.

I'm at 3800 and averaging 14.5 mixed freeway/city. If I cruise control it on freeway at 70 I'll jump to 18 or so.

Unless you are continuously in the throttle you should not have a problem...the lowest I have seen was 13 mpg.

I reset my meter before I left for Raptor Run 3 a few weeks ago... Just got home from Raptor run 4 and the meter reads 15.0 mpg. About a couple of thousand miles that include the two drives from LV to Anza-Borrego and back... daily driving to work and around town... and all the off roading we did. Not too bad in my opinion.

P.S. When I figure the mileage out by hand... miles driven divided by gallons used... I calculated 15.5 mpg.
