Miles Per Gallon report:
After 10,000 miles I reset my Raptor's MPG meter (readout). The result for these miles?
12.2 MPG over 10,000 smiles.
Disclaimer: I drive fast on the freeway (yeah, my 5.4L powered Raptor wants to run - let's face it, these trucks ride great on and off road). I do 80 MPH routinely when the freeways aren't laden with traffic. And I've driven quite a bit offroad on at least 10 multi-day trips. I typically don't bolt away from stoplights (not usually) but have been known to on occasion
I didn't buy this truck to worry about MPGs especially knowing how I drive. And expecting something this big, this wide with big wide tires (huge frontal area resistant to wind) to get good MPGs is folly.
I expect to see my MPGs in the 13's now but that's it...unless I modify my driving style.
