Will have to start at the fuse box and trace power back to the pump. Also have a scanner but no check engine light so not sure if it'll show anything. Hate to drop the tank again but it's that or bring it to the dealer.

did you check all the fuses in BOTH locations? how did you cross wires hooking up a trailer? 4 pin or 7 pin?
Both locations?? And I was putting in new brake lights. Touched a hot wire to the metal trailer and blew a fuse or two plus killed the anti hyperflash resistor for the rear brake lights. Ground was not hooked up at the time.

There is a feature on the dealership tech's scan tool that allows him to compare fuel pressure (at each injector) to see if they are within the same pressure range. If you're bringing it back there, it would be good to check that out.

I would check the fuse 27 wiring again.
Will do. Start there and check for power back to the pump.
Are shutting off the engine when fueling? It's good practice to do that anyway.
Always do, especially in NJ where your not allowed to pump your own gas. QUOTE="MTF, post: 2082732, member: 499"
You can try taking the small plastic funnel from under the rear driver side seat and shove in and out a bunch of times.
Use injector cleaner while doing that, sometimes the sensor will get stuck.

sounds as you have a short in your wiring and/or a bad ground. Lot of good advice in this thread. A multimeter will be your friend to locating the bad section.

In SC again, had to tow our trailer down with the wife's H3. When we go back to NJ I'll start with the scanner, then check the fuses again, then chase the wires. Thaks for all the help everbody. Have a safe and happy holliday. Will let you know when I find the issue.

Sorry, it's not a sensor but the fill tube inlet flap can produce a fault code.
