Tell them they need to refer to the 21B10 Supplement #2 released July 15, 2021. The new software is available, give them a call and have them look it up.Well yah, out of curiosity I scheduled for FSA 21B10. I have a 2017, and this is the reply from Ford service department.

No. The dealer is referencing the old update from March, the new software is available as if 7/15.looks like Ford screwed up this update as well ...or just software update cant fix it
FTO- i been lurking these threads and many others.. Thanks for all your efforts with the group... I was just curious is this CAM phaser issue in 2017 to 2019 is it a high probability to all trucks at some point will have this? Plus i have read that even though this happens its suppose to not effect the reliability of the truck or do limp ode-etc.(just a bad sounds). ?No. The dealer is referencing the old update from March, the new software is available as if 7/15.
I had mine updated earlier this week (Tuesday) and the recall/TSB still shows up on my Ford Pass app. So does the service history, but it doesn't specify the reason for the visit. They just took mine in for the reprogramming. So it's still valid. Although it did disappear from my FordPass app last night sometime.
Have you noticed anything different afterwards?I had mine updated earlier this week (Tuesday) and the recall/TSB still shows up on my Ford Pass app. So does the service history, but it doesn't specify the reason for the visit.
No. It isn't a daily driver, but I did drive it a couple times in town. I've driven regular and sport modes, and it seems to be the same as before. Once in a while in sport mode I get a more harsh shift, but it could be that I'm not on it enough too...lol.Have you noticed anything different afterwards?
No, not every phaser will develop the issue. The calibration update was released to prevent the phasers that are susceptible to the issue from exhibiting it.FTO- i been lurking these threads and many others.. IS that true too?...
I really love my used 2019- almost 2 much-- told myself never would get a 6cyl turbo FULLSIZE TRUCK but must say i am impressed by it
I got it back about an hour ago and all is good as far as I can tell. They just took mine in for the reprogramming. So it's still valid. Although it did disappear from my FordPass app last night sometime.
