I dove into this issue pretty deep - I wanted to replace the OEM raptor with IMO better looking lariat/KR/platinum/limited grill from the 2018-2020 MYs. I found that the problem is the valance/trim under the grill. To accommodate the wider front fenders and bigger grill, this valence basically doesn't exist - only the filler pieces to the sides of the headlights. You would have to splice the Raptor headlight pieces with a "typical" F-150 valence in the middle to accommodate a "typical" F-150 grill. Ive seen it done by a body shop but most guys simply overlay the sides onto the center valence.
