Truck has 54,500 miles and only about 5K since I did the mid-perch. I never noticed this floating feeling till last week and only get it when doing 75mph on the interstate. Expansion joints in the concrete make it little worse too.

Anyone have any idea what would cause this all of a sudden? It's starting to drive me crazy! TIA!!!

Have you checked your sway bar, see if it's still connected properly? Make sure you haven't broken a connector rod? i know a member awhile back found be broke a connecting rod for his sway bar.

I noticed the floating feeling when I first done the mid-perch & installed the Venom bumper, but I either got use to it or it went away. I just don't notice it anymore and truck drives perfectly straight. Or maybe it took it a little bit for the truck to settle down with the new adjustment. I just don't know.

Fox recommends that the OE shocks be rebuilt after 50,000 road miles. That is one of the symptoms mentioned when a rebuild might be a good idea.

I'll look closely at sway bar after work today for sure.

I read on the forum when searching for the cause of this, Fox says the OE shocks are good for 10yrs or 150,000 miles.... Did I misread this maybe?

Really depends on the usage when shocks need to be rebuilt. If you off road more than the average person well, you get the idea. There's no magic number really.

Sorry I should have stated I had stock shocks and that I don't do much off-roading and previous owner didn't. More of a DD, but does seem a rebuild could be possible. I'm hoping something broke or is loose, can't really have the truck down for any extended period of time
