I am elk hunting today at the crime scene today. I have done a lot of stupid shit over the years and I feel this was not one of them. My mechanic still thinks I am pulling his leg. I did inquire about a beefed up drive shaft. His response was what else would you break. Drive shafts are easy to replace.
Even I could do it.

Never stuck in Mts..but been in one if those mid west white outs on interstate..semis in ditches like little toys...finally made it to exit,pulled into gas station to sleep overnight and my front grill had 5" of ice on it...pulled it off in one piece..a perfect ice grill..!

Interesting info. Thanks for posting. Not the style of elk hunting I do, so I feel my Raptor is safe from a similar fate as we don't use the trucks to hunt out of camp.
