FRONT DIFF GRENADED! Does G1 and G2 use the same Front Diff?

Hope someone can help me out.
We blew the front diff on our G2, and Ford is refusing to cover it under warranty because the housing cracked. I'm looking to find a used assembly, because we will be regearing to 5.13 for 39's.
My biggest question is if a G1 diff is the same (or will work) on a G2. If so, my problem can be quickly solved.
Otherwise, does anyone have eyes/ears on a used diff? Will purchase TODAY.
