Can you post pics of the washer unit? I think im going to get an Aftermarket camera on my 2010 and see if I can set up the washer some how.

I would like to do the same. It would be nice to be able to get the part number for the factory camera housing, seeing as that just snaps in. Adding an aftermarket camera to that housing should be simple.
I would like to get the lockpic to have the factory rear camera on demand. Now the hard part would be switching between the front and rear camera. Any thoughts or imput would be appreciated.

I swear on Ford.com I was building my raptor and it said with the Raptor Plus package that both the front and rear cameras were included. That was about 1 1/2 months ago. Now it says just the rear camera. Well, I guess I don't need a front camera.

Oh well. A couple more weeks for my Raptor to get built. I'm excited.

I am a new member and just picked up my 2012 Silver Raptor. It did not come with the front facing camera in the grill. Does anyone know if you can add it later through a local ford dealer? It was the only option that it did not come with and it would really be helpful if I had one. The grill has the mounting bracket for it but I don't see a wiring harness. Thanks

When I picked up my 2012 that was the first thing I looked for and it was missing the front camera also. Dealer never gave me a good answer on why it was missing.

Lockpick does NOT allow you to view the FACTORY rear camera unless it is in reverse. In fact, I have an aftermarket rearview camera I had mounted in the same place as the factory camera so I could add a front camera, and in that scenario it doesnt work either. Only way you can do a rear camera in motion is to hook up an aftermarket camera to the 2nd camera input, but then you wont have it when you put your truck in reverse, you will have to manually turn it on through the nav control each time.

That said, I use the front camera while Im driving if I want to tailgate a Dodge going slow or run some old lady' groceries over, but that is about it. :ROFLJest::ROFLJest:

Okay, seriously, the only time it is really handy is when you offroad going over a ledge or something where you need to see over your hood down to the ground. I would say parking, but I always back in. Rule #1 in parking lots. Always easier to back in parking than to back out into the street blindly.

You've still got plenty of time to get it corrected. Just make sure your dealer speaks to the regional rep. Mine is scheduled to be built tomorrow and I didn't find out until last Wednesday or Thursday that there was a problem. I just got an updated build sheet from the dealer this morning and the factory accepted the change.

The mechanic that is working on my truck said that he got the camera installed including the sprayer and it is working great however when you put the truck in reverse the front camera comes on instead of the rear camera. He is very confused on why this is happening so anyone with any help please let me know so I can pick my truck up!!

Okay I wanted to post this to see if someone that had a 2012 Raptor with the front camera could help me. This module is where the front and rear camera come together. You see in the pictures along with the model number is located under the dash to the left of the brake mounted up high on the side of the firewall. If someone can tell me if they have two sets of wires coming into the module (a pic would be really nice) As the ford dealer is at odds if he is missing something because the front camera even when disabled through the dash gauge will come on when you put the truck in reverse. If someone could post any suggestions or pics it would be greatly appreciated.
