Front Camera

Well I got a call and they said they got it all the cameras working but there was one error on the truck they had to fix. With any luck I might have it back this morning. I will pm you with my cell.

Randy, I wouldn't be. The average Ford salesman is illiterate when it comes to knowing ANYTHING about what they are selling. That is the price of 'cheap' from China, Mexico and the rest of the shit-holes of the world so the ELITE bastards can steal everything we got.

Ford is STUPID not having this a plug-n-play like the computer world FINALLY did with the USB ports and plugs!

Yes the install is complete and everything is working. Took a while but it is all good.

Thanks to Gvegas and the tech at his dealership, it looks like my front camera issue is in the process of being dealt with as well.

quick question, the front washer for the front camera only works if the front camera is enabled?

No... You can use the front washer at any time. It is especially funny when someone is checking out the front camera and you spray them...

Another reason why I am not bummed anymore as I could not get NAV in my 2011 due to the Earthquake in Japan is that I love the backup camera in the rear view mirror and my soon to have Alpine Navigation unit has a camera input that I will eventually hook up a OEM front camera to, not sure why I would ever need it but since I can I will do it for the hell of it!

Gevgas, Can you do a right up of everything that was done at ford including part numbers of the items required to get this done? I own a 2011 screw and I would love to add the front camera as well. It would be a great post for 2011 owners!!!!!!!
