I am not 100 percent on it yet but after christmas i am gonna look it all over and contact them with a few questions. Just to make sure its sounds like a good working product. Im not a Einstein of electrics I dont know just exactly how they are doing this but, I do know that they are sending a signal through the vehicles can(the twisted pair wires) system that communicates with all the modules and can communicate with more that one(multitasking) thats how it can read the signals it need to and turn on the front camera...

Ok sounds good. R u buying and doin the install on urs soon? I wonder how involved the install is. Before the forced front camera was available k was goin to buy and install it but nav tv recommended i had it installed by a nav tv dealer because there was programming involved....

Here is the official scoop about front camera in motion...

1) Yes, we can now enable the front camera at any time.
2) No, it's not the standard AllSync, but a different product, which is $50 more.
3) No, it's not available at the moment, but should start shipping by 2013.
