Also coming out of an FJ which was a great truck, but the Raptor is just nasty. My first domestic vehicle so I'm hoping the quality is up to the price point...no regrets so far.

your coming from an FJ. When we had ours I thought everything was so cheap in it. The plastics were all hard and felt like you would break everything very easily. Just felt cheap to me.

Yah your right the plastics inside we the "scratchable" type and the interior looked like they were trying to go the hose it out route; I'm more referring to the mechanicals longevity/quality. The raptor is def a plusher and more luxurious vehicle.

There are a few glitches here and there, but what do you expect from a first of its kind truck? look at ferrari 458s, they were catching on fire! You might get the clunk in the drive shaft, that is covered under warranty and will get a new one. Thats about it for issues that are wide spread.

Take your finger tips and nails and bang on the top cover for your gauges in the rap. That plastic is what the whole interior felt like in the yotas. Toyota has been known for this amazing attention to detail quality but I don't see it anymore. Go look at a scion iQ. The whole door panel flexes when you pull it closed and the air conditioning knobs are actually mechanical!
