Yukon JOe - I see you have the Radio I was looking at purchasing. How well does it work? What antenna set up/location did you do?

I really like it. I got a dud at first, but the radio shop exchanged it for me. No problems since.

I had the NMO ANLI duel band stainless steel whip, with 5" mag mount. It took some good hits at snoball500 and TRR, but never fell off.

I now have a hard mounted Vhf Tram antenna. Yet to be tested. This weekend it will be used on the south Dakota run.

Kanakry, worldtour and WSI run the same set up. It's easy to program, once you figure it out and get the right USB drivers.
